An insight into the magical world of Freya Rose

As the date approaches, we’re getting extremely excited about launching our new ‘Enchanted’ collection at this years luxury Bridal Trade Fair, The White Gallery. From 20th-22nd May the very best in Bridal design will come together in the fine surroundings of Battersea Park to launch their forthcoming collections.

The Freya Rose ‘Enchanted’ Collection is reminiscent of the magical stories and colourful wonders found in a fairytale garden. Inspired by fresh dew sparkling in the sunlight, wild flowers gently swaying in the wind and the delicate flutter of fairy wings, this collection has been created in order for a bride to create her very own fairytale experience.

 Incorporating delicate crystal, gold chain with silk organza and couture silk flowers hand painted in gold leaf, this collection is an innovative, romantic and breathtaking approach to couture wedding shoes.

We don’t want to give too much away…. but here’s a sneak peak of what to expect!

We are loving the latest shoot from ‘Vintage Bride‘ showing their new collection. The Denmark stockist now stock a beautiful selection of our bridal shoes and have used our ‘Della Sky’ Ivory satin shoes, Mother of Pearl Rose shoe clips and ‘Aide’ with our signature Mother of Pearl heel. We were wowed by their beautiful styling, just take a look at some of these gorgeous pictures….

The Freya Rose showroom has a wonderful make-over! In a moment of undulation, the FR team decided a refurbishment was due. With black walls, a beautifully bouncy black carpet, and an exquisite floor to ceiling feature mirror, the showroom has been transformed into a glamourous and chic shoe boudoir.

With carefully placed spot lighting, the shoes come alive…. we love love love it!

We wanted to share a snapshot of images from our recent shoot with Sabina Motasem at the Waldorf Hilton Hotel. 

Sabina Motasem Bride, is London’s best kept bridal secret, offering luxuriously understated elegant wedding and cocktail dresses. Their collection oozes the glamour and sophistication of old and new Hollywood, using geometry and simplicity combined with simple shapes, reminiscent of the Art Deco style.

The shoot was set in the beautiful ballroom of the Waldorf Hilton Hotel, which was incidentally used in filming some of the scenes in the James Cameron film Titanic. The Waldorf is an iconic London hotel, located in the west-end. It is a beautiful wedding venue and its architecture recreates the glamour and sophistication of the 1920′s jazz era.

Using a collection of Sabina’s dresses and shoes from our new ‘Enchanted’ Collection, we set up camp in the stunning mirrored surroundings of the Palm Court, and here are some of the images from the shoot….:
