The Freya Rose Couture Service
Having worked in the bridal industry for a number of years, I have grown to learn that every bride is totally different. That considered, when brides come to my London Showroom I always have an open mind that they may have a very specific idea of what they would like their wedding shoes to look like. My collections cater for a spectrum of brides and occasions but each style can certainly have a clients input on design – small tweaks can be made to add extra sparkle or detail or more dramatic changes can be made to change the total look of a shoe. It is lovely to create a shoe for a client that is half Freya Rose and half of them – a shoe totally unique and precious to that individual.
Here at Freya Rose a unique bespoke service is offered, creating couture shoes for Brides that are to the exact specifications they envisioned. Even if you are not a bride and need a shoe for a certain occasion, we can create a perfect pair for you event.
One aspect of the couture Freya Rose Service is our in house embroidery. This is carried out in our London studio and showroom – here you can you can view the different techniques and materials that are available to tailor to your specifications.
I spent years travelling the world to source the finest and most luxurious materials and components including sumptuous Italian silks and leathers, delicate French Chantilly lace, lustrous fresh groundwater pearls and iridescent Mother of Pearl. All of which can be incorporated into your shoes.
Shoes are hand embellished after the shoe has been created. This is a complicated process requiring highly skilled craftsmen to embroider rare and unusual materials to the edge of the piping right down to the feather-edge of the sole, making these true couture works of art. Because of the process order in which the shoes are created, you can have your shoes embellished to specification. You can take a look through the collections and handpick trims that you like and add them to the style of shoe you best feel suited.
Shoes can also be dyed. Once a bride required her shoes to be dyed a specific shade of blue, to match her grooms tie and to keep within the tradition of ‘something blue’. She also added a shoe clip for extra detail. If you choose a shoe that is made with an Ivory Duchess Silk the option of dying will be available to you.
If you have a specific pair of shoes in mind for your wedding or a special occasion please contact us – we here at Freya Rose would be delighted to help you make your shoe dreams come true!
