What should I expect and bring to my appointment?

Your experience at our beautiful showroom will be one to remember. Whether you know what you want or not, you will have our dedicated expert advice and guidance. During this meeting we find out about your style, the dress and theme to ensure you find your perfect pair of shoes.

Please allow up to 1 hour for your appointment and, if you can, bring a picture of your dress and swatch of the fabric.

Is it possible to have an alternative Freya Rose style?

Once we confirm your style and your size, we can manufacture most of our styles in any colour combination. There is an additional charge for this service (£80- £150 depending on material)

We would strongly suggest that you visit our showroom for this service where you’ll find staff who are specially trained in taking couture orders.

I want some customised shoes but am unable to come to London.

If a store visit is not convenient our fully trained and helpful sales consultants are also available online or by phone to help you every step of the way. You can advise the style you are looking for and can send us a swatch of the colour that you would like to match. Within a few days you will receive a selection of swatches for your approval along with the style to confirm your Freya Rose size.

I would like Freya Rose to design me a unique pair of shoes.

Clients can have a completely new pattern designed by Freya Rose. Freya advises that as much information is brought to the consultation as possible. Shoes and heels you like, drawings, materials and colours.  A selection of designs will be drawn up by Freya for the client to select. Up to two fittings may be required and takes 12- 24 weeks.

Prices for bespoke design by Freya Rose start at £1500.

Can I request material swatches?

Swatches of the satin/lace/suede can be sent to customers free of charge.

Where are the shoes made?

Our shoes are designed by Freya Rose.

Our workshop is based in Spain, each design is made with the highest quality and attention to detail. Every shoe is cut, stitched and constructed in the traditional way by skilled craftsmen.

What are the shoes made from?

Our shoes are made from the highest quality materials. These include Italian Duchess silk satin, French Chantily Lace , Italian Kid leathers and suedes.

All our shoes have full leather linings which not only makes them incredibly comfortable but also allows your feet to breathe.

What if you do not have my size available?

If you have ordered a style from any of our collections and your size is not in stock we will contact you to reserve a pair when next available or we will give you the choice to cancel your order. If the shoes are needed to a dress fitting we can arrange for the same style in an alternaitve size to be sent.

Can I return or exchange my shoes?

How do I clean my shoes?

Satin can be cleaned using a soft, slightly damp cloth, leave to dry naturally. Spray protection can be used, do not spray your shoes if you want to dye them. Leather can be cleaned with a damp cloth, we recommend you use a neutral polish to avoid colour mismatches.

Why is there a plastic film on my sole?

Your shoes have a soft leather sole covered with a protective plastic film. Only try them on in a soft carpeted area. We recommend you leave the protective film on the shoes until the day before/morning of the wedding to ensure the soles are kept clean.

Please note: if the soles are marked or the protective film is removed they will be non – returnable.

Can you dye Freya Rose shoes?

All the satin shoes in our collection can be dyed, a swatch for testing will be enclosed in your box. We recommend a company called Bobbi Specialist Dyer, the contact number is 020 8360 6148. We also recommend a company called Arabesque, their contact number is 01738 630574 and their website is

Are the shoes comfortable?

Freya Rose shoes are designed to be incredibly comfortable, with each shoe fully padded under your foot. We use a specially designed memory foam insole and soft A grade kid leather lining.

We recommend you wear your shoes for 2–3 times before your wedding,for 10 minutes each time, so they mould to the shape of your feet.

My shoes are slightly tight, will they give?

Satin shoes can sometimes take a little longer to give than leather. Firstly we would recommend going up half a size, however if they are to big and If your shoes are only very slighty tight we recommend wearing the shoes for 10 minutes with socks on, this way they will naturally give. If it is the width which feels too tight and not length, we offer a stretching service which will increase the width by half a size.

Do you do shoe repair?

We do not offer in-house shoe repairs but we recommend Classic Shoe Repairs, their website is Prices are: Half leather sole repair – Approx. £30. Heel tips – Approx £10. Strap adjustment – Prices start from £30. Toe Segs – Approx £10.

Do you do Personalised Engraving on the Sole?

Yes – we only work exclusively on Freya Rose shoes.  Please contact for more information. Prices start at £80. You must supply your art work in Jpeg format and allow 2 weeks lead time.
