Frankie’s Woodland Wedding on Vancouver Island
Nick and Frankie chose to be a little unconventional and eloped to Tofino for their wedding day as they wanted it to be just the two of them. With abundant parkland, Vancouver Island is a destination for hiking, biking, and camping – and of course it is a stunning destination for a wedding venue!
“Making the decision to do something so low key without our families and friends with us was a tough decision on so many levels, but in the end we (stubbornly!) decided that it was what we wanted for our wedding day. Our mothers were upset but they are now over it! The day was perfect and I would highly recommend eloping to anyone who isn’t fussed about a big day.”
The wedding rings were custom made by Ana De Costa Fine Jewellery.
These shoes are designed with a special memory foam lining to ensure comfort, which was of particular importance to Frankie as she did a lot of walking on her wedding day!
“My shoes were absolutely amazing – so comfortable and totally able to cope with the various terrains of the day – a forest floor and sandy beach! They cleaned up well afterwards too and amazingly look almost new after what was basically a woodland hike!”
