Real Bride Alix In Exquisite GiGi Ivory Wedding Shoes
We are always honoured to be part of a bride’s special day - there's nothing more heartwarming than seeing them glow in her treasured Freya Rose wedding shoes. This summer, Alix said "I do" to her husband Brayden at the stunning Maleny Manor. She chose our stylish yet comfy wedding shoes Gigi Ivory to complete her chic wedding look, and we couldn’t be more delighted to have played a small part in such a meaningful moment.
When it came to her wedding shoes, real bride Alix had a clear vision: she desired heels that struck the perfect balance of being elegant yet contemporary, with just the right practicality for walking on grass, comfortable enough for all-day wear, secure for dancing the night away, and, of course, undeniably beautiful. The moment she discovered Freya Rose, Alix described it as ‘love at first sight'.
“I got so many comments on my wedding day about how beautiful my wedding shoes were and how amazed people were that I'd had them on all day. That seemed crazy to me because I was so comfortable, which meant I was able to focus on the day, on Brayden, and on just having fun! Choosing the right shoes completely changed my day for the better, and I want every bride to have that. You want to be focusing on the love of your life, not your feet!”
Alix shared the beautiful story behind her classic wedding dress which she styled with our GiGi’s. She had a very specific vision for the gown, which she couldn't find online or in person; she was even on the verge of choosing a second best option when her family stepped in. Her aunt created the dream wedding dress, and, as you can see, it turned out absolutely gorgeous - 'this made the wedding feel even more special' shared Alix.
