Gold Jewellery Takes Centre Stage at London Fashion Week
Gold jewellery has something inherently powerful when worn with confidence: it can transform the simplest silhouette into something considered, sculptural, and unmistakably chic. This season, we were honoured to be the Jewellery Sponsor of the London Fashion Week opening show, celebrating Paul Costelloe’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. For Freya Rose London, it was a beautiful opportunity to bring our own language of craftsmanship, form and contemporary Gold Jewellery into dialogue with one of London’s most enduring fashion houses.
The show opened with a charming homage to Paul Costelloe himself: a fox brought to life through hand-drawn animation by Nicholas Costelloe. The character takes us on a journey through the materials, artistry, talent, and heritage at the heart of the house, a fitting introduction to a collection where craftsmanship remains firmly at the centre.
This sentiment resonates deeply with us. At Freya Rose London, we have always believed jewellery should be more than an accessory. It should have presence, artistry, and individuality- pieces that elevate a look while remaining effortless to wear.

Jewellery with an effortless sense of impact
The SS27 collection embraces relaxed sophistication, with tailoring softened by linen, silk and lightweight cotton. Oversized single- and double-breasted jackets, sculpted shoulders, curved lapels and fluid trousers create a distinctive balance between structure and ease. A deliberately concise palette of navy, cornflower blue, cream, white, and soft summer neutrals lets cut, fabrication, and carefully considered accessories take centre stage.
This effortless styling is where Gold Jewellery finds its place.
As Jewellery Sponsor, we selected pieces from three of our distinctive jewellery worlds to complement the collection: our Sumba Collection and the Forged Collection. Together, they offered contrasting interpretations of bold contemporary adornment, from sculptural circular forms and versatile designs to expressive earrings and statement pendants.

The Sumba pieces bring fluidity and versatility, designed to move naturally with the wearer. Their considered forms feel equally at home against tailoring or worn as a singular statement.

From the Forged Collection, the jewellery introduced a more architectural quality. Circular forms, discs, drops and pendants echo the sculptural proportions seen throughout the collection, creating a compelling conversation between fashion and jewellery.

A celebration of craftsmanship
The result was Gold Jewellery that felt powerful without being overly formal- statement pieces with impact, yet styled with the same instinctive ease that defines the collection itself.
William Costelloe captures this philosophy perfectly:
“I wanted this collection to feel chic, effortless and spontaneous. The design and fabric should do the work - a beautiful garment, a great bag, a silk scarf worn however you want. No rules.”
That idea of no rules particularly speaks to our approach to jewellery. The most memorable pieces are often those that invite the wearer to make them their own, worn alone, layered, paired with tailoring or allowed to become the focal point of an otherwise understated look.
The collection also shows a beautiful synchronicity in its emphasis on gold, from specially moulded gold buttons to the rich, sculptural presence of Gold Jewellery throughout the styling. It reinforces the idea that considered details can completely alter the character of a silhouette.

For Freya Rose London, being the Jewellery Sponsor of the London Fashion Week opening show was a true honour. It is a privilege to see our jewellery placed within a collection so deeply rooted in British craftsmanship, heritage and modern elegance, while celebrating the artistry and creativity behind both houses.
As fashion continues to embrace individuality over rigid rules, Gold Jewellery offers an instinctive way to express that spirit. Bold, contemporary and beautifully considered, it has the ability to elevate without effort, becoming not simply an accessory, but part of the story.
And for us, that is where the magic lies.
