The 'Rose En Fleur' Couture Collection
When designer Freya Rose launched her eponymous brand, she set out to create timeless pieces to treasure forever. Using exquisite materials, such as mother of pearl, brass, and sterling silver, she has done exactly that.
The ‘Couture Collection,’ launched once a year, features even more intricate designs. Due to the complexity involved, only 20 pairs of each style can be made per year, making them must-have exclusives.

The Inspiration for the Collection
This season Freya was inspired by the beauty of nature. In some ways, the new collection isn’t too much of a departure, with the brand’s signature mother of pearl motifs remaining.
However, now Freya is taking that idea one step further, by supplying sparkle and much-needed glamour as we return to dressing up. “I wanted to create wearable works of art that transcend the boundaries of design whilst reflecting the wearer's individuality,” Freya tells us. “I took inspiration from art, inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s abundant roses and architectural design by Japanese artists such as Eitoku.”
Freya has focused on her niche, collaborating with her team of artisans to create shoes that tell a thousand tales. “My focus was on bold design, lavish details and sculptural elegance.” Freya remarks.

'Rose in Bloom Gold' Platform Shoes
Our 'Rose in Bloom Gold' platform shoes are set on a towering stiletto heel that's balanced by a sturdy 4cm platform. They've been made in Spain from luminous shimmering taupe suede, and feature a standout heel encrusted with hand-cut pearl and brass, set in a floral motif.
Freya Rose uses the house's signature pearl heel details to great effect with these showstopping flower-patterned platform shoes.
'Rene' Black Block Heels
The ‘Rene’ shoes have everlasting appeal. Handmade with brass, ivory Mother of Pearl and set in black resin, the classic black hue will go with anything in your closet.
The 'Rene' shoe also features a cut-out detail in the silhouette, and a leg accentuating ankle strap for extra date night appeal.
'Rozu' Champagne Block Heels
Our ‘Rozu’ shoes are celebratory-worthy ivory block heels. Referencing Eitoku’s ‘Birds and Flowers of the Four Seasons,’ they are detailed with a floral pattern crafted from brass and mother of pearl.
