Couple’s Story
Zack and Alyssa met in the fall of 2015 at a football game cheering on their alma mater, Arizona State, who was matched up against UCLA. Despite growing up a mile from each other, attending the same college and having many mutual friends, their meeting was kismet. Arizona State went on to win that fateful day, but the real winners were Zack and Alyssa, as this day kicked off a relationship that would continue to grow for the next several years.
Since that time, the two have travelled all over the country visiting the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, sipping on wine in Napa, listening to live music in Austin, and exploring various cities for Zack’s race weekends. Zack is a long-time marathoner and ultrarunner. The most memorable trip for the pair took place in early May 2021 when they went to visit Yosemite National Park. While there, they completed many hikes, trekking to the top of such iconic peaks as Yosemite and Nevada Falls. On the third day’s hike to Glacier Point, Zack and Alyssa stopped to take a photo that ended up perfectly encapsulating not only the beauty of the hike, but their love for one another and captured the moment Zack proposed to Alyssa, and she blissfully accepted. Due to them both growing up in the same city it was important for us to have the wedding where their parallel lives began.

Zack and Alyssa's wedding took place on the 7th May 2022; they chose to celebrate at their treasured wedding day in Manhattan Beach. Their ceremony was held at the idyllic American Martyrs Catholic Church and the reception at the gorgeous Verandas Beach House; the perfect locations for a traditional, yet modern wedding, exactly what they were after!

"For as long as I have dreamed about my wedding, I always knew I wanted to wear my mom's pearl choker that she wore on her wedding day.
