Real Bride In Freya Rose Pearl Earrings For Winter Wonderland Wedding

Real bride Velia was adorned in our silver baroque pearl long drops for a beautiful winter wonderland wedding in March. She styled these unique pearl earrings with an embellished design by Galia Lahav, the wedding gown consisted of pearl like embellishments which compliment her pearl jewellery exquisitely.

Wedding Inspiration

The couple decided to have a micro wedding to be able to include everyone in a special way and allow for freedom with where they were able to get married. They each loved adventuring in nature and snow activities, so a winter wonderland wedding felt fitting for the pair.

Due to the micro nature of the wedding the special day felt like a shared experience as the groomsman were decorating the ceremony arch, the maid of honour's husband played the guitar as she walked down the isle and even her dear fiend served as the officiant for the day. They were able to create beautifully unique experience for not only themselves but all of the guests involved.

Couple Story

The couple matched online in December of 2020 and met up for a social distance beach walk in Venice Beach, CA where the bride was living at the time.

"I was very hesitant to put myself out there given the climate, but when I saw Evan it was like I was reconnecting with an old friend. There was an indescribable feeling of familiarity and comfort being around him. Two years later, he proposed on the beach as he recreated our first date."

There are so many opinions, factors and suggestions being proposed that I felt like my intuition was lost in the abyss of choice. I was loosing many nights of sleep, feeling like I would never find the right destination that met our requirements. I realized that the large wedding everyone expected from us was simply not what we wanted. Finding the courage to pivot and coming across the wedding venue of our dreams as a micro wedding, released all the stresses I was feeling and I regained the excitement of the wedding planning journey.
