I chose Freya Rose's gorgeous shoes because I knew the mother of pearl inlay would protect the shoes from walking on the romantic cobbled streets and lots of dancing. The shoe clips added a unique flourish, which I can keep forever.” "We chose to have a civil ceremony in the medieval town hall in the centre of Taormina and make the parade to our reception in the San Domenico palace hotel which is a converted medieval monastery over looking the sea.” "I customised my dress myself from a corset and a skirt I found. Then I completely embellished it with 3d lace, pearls and crystals (it took 3 years!). I also made my veil, so I wanted my accessories to have the same bespoke feel!"
