Real Brides - Mark and Katie's Beautiful Classic Wedding Day Wearing Freya Rose 'Charlie' Ivory Shoes

Our thanks to Katie for sending us these photos - and for choosing Freya Rose's sumptuous white silk-satin 'Charlie Ivory' court shoes to wear with her dream dress!

The epitome of elegance, we asked Katie about her style choices for the big day.

The bride chose a bespoke 'Suzanne Neville' dress from 'Carina Baverstock Couture,' and "absolutely adored it, it was beautiful."

For wedding shoes, Katie "wanted something elegant, chic and timeless to match the dress and the ‘Charlie’ white bridal shoe was exactly what I was searching for."

Katie said "The colour was also the perfect match to my dress - it was meant to be. They were so comfortable and gave me the perfect height (my partner is rather tall!) I have already been recommending Freya Rose to all of my friends."

The couple, who have known each other since nursery, "dated briefly when we were 17" before going their separate ways. However, they ended up getting back at 21 and they have "been together ever since." (Now aged 30).

It's clear to see they are a match made in heaven.

The couple chose a classic and romantic venue for the ceremony and the reception. They opted for 'St Mary the Virgin Church' for the vows, and the charming 'Grittleton House' for the reception.

The fairytale venue matched our 'Charlie' ivory court bridal shoes perfectly.

Katie said her "wedding was such a wonderful day, from getting ready with my best girls to dancing the night away with my new husband - I really couldn’t have asked for more!" 

"Remember to stop for a moment and really take it all in, the sounds of the church bells, the scent of all the florals etc so you really have memories to last a life time!"
