Forged Collection: Mother of Pearl Jewellery for Summer Solstice
The summer solstice, 21st June, has been honoured by cultures across the world for as long as we have measured time. The longest day. The peak of light. The moment of renewal. For 2026, Freya Rose marks the date with a new chapter in the world of Mother of Pearl Jewellery, The Solstice Collection, a hand-forged jewellery capsule designed to carry the warmth of midsummer into the everyday wardrobe.
At its heart is the same material that has defined Freya Rose since 2010, Mother of Pearl, set into sculpted gold and silver forms, hand-forged by master artisans using techniques passed down through generations. The collection is a celebration of light made wearable.
The story behind the collection
The Solstice Collection was crafted as a tribute to the symbolism of light, the light we see, and the light we carry within ourselves.
"I wanted to create pieces that feel radiant and effortless," says Freya Rose Archer, Founder, Designer and CEO of Freya Rose London. "Jewellery that becomes part of the wearer's everyday story, from sunrise to sunset."
Each piece in the collection echoes the sun's cyclical promise of renewal. Iridescent Mother of Pearl discs catch the light as the wearer moves, a modern talisman for the woman who values meaning as much as beauty. Mother of Pearl has been associated for centuries with love, protection and new beginnings. Within The Solstice Collection, this new expression of Mother-of-Pearl Jewellery becomes the wearer's private signature.

The making — hand-forged, heritage craft
The Solstice Collection sits firmly within the brand's tradition of slow, meaningful luxury and within the wider register of Freya Rose Mother of Pearl Jewellery, where every piece is hand-shaped.
Each piece is hand-forged by master artisans using techniques that predate industry, sculpted, shaped and finished one piece at a time. The gold and silver forms carry the marks of the hand that made them, with the kind of subtle variation no machine can replicate. The Mother of Pearl discs are hand-cut, hand-set, and finished by the artisan families the brand has worked with for generations.
The result is a collection that is sculptural in form, lightweight in wear, and crafted in considered quantities.
The six pieces
Six hand-forged Mother of pearl jewellery pieces sit at the heart of the launch, a complete edit, designed to be worn alone or layered into a cohesive whole.
Forged Disc Necklace
A single Mother of Pearl disc, set in hand-forged gold, suspended on a fine chain to sit just below the collarbone. The necklace at the heart of the collection, a modern talisman, is designed to be layered with finer chains or worn alone as the day's centrepiece.

Forged Disc Stud Earrings
A hand-forged gold disc set with Mother of Pearl, sized to sit close to the ear. The piece for the woman who wants the warmth of gold and the iridescence of Mother of Pearl in their most wearable form, earrings worn from dawn to dusk, with linen tailoring, summer silk, or beneath an evening collar.

Forged Drop Earrings
The longer, drop iteration. A hand-forged gold disc suspended at length, set with Mother of Pearl that catches the light with every movement. The piece for the woman who wants presence, sculptural, considered, the kind of earring that holds the eye in a photograph.

Forged Disc Bangle
Hand-forged gold, set with the same Mother of Pearl disc that runs through the collection. A sculptural bangle, 6.5cm in diameter, designed to sit beautifully alone or to be stacked with the stud bangles for a layered, sun-warmed wrist. Lightweight on the arm, considered in proportion.

Gold Stud Bangle
The Gold Stud Bangle is the architectural counterpart in the collection — hand-forged in gold with a sculptural stud detail, designed to be worn alone or stacked beside the Forged Disc Bangle. The piece for the woman who builds her wrist layer by layer.

A natural extension of the house
The Solstice Collection was designed as a natural extension of the brand's signature Mother of Pearl heels.
For brides, style lovers, and collectors who have come to know Freya Rose through the sculptural occasion shoes, the new Mother of Pearl Jewellery offers a cohesive, elevated aesthetic that bridges craft, jewellery and wearable art. Worn together, a pair of Mother of Pearl heels at the foot, the Forged Disc Necklace at the collarbone, and the Forged Drop Earrings at the ear — the look becomes a single, considered expression of the house.
How to wear it
The Solstice Collection was designed for layering. A starting point for three considerations:
For the everyday signature. The Forged Disc Stud Earrings with the Forged Disc Necklace, a soft, considered pairing for the working week, with linen tailoring or a summer silk blouse. The single, sun-warmed register that takes her from morning to evening.
For the wrist statement. The Forged Disc Bangle stacked with the Gold Stud Bangle. Two hand-forged pieces in the same gold register, layered into a sculptural wrist, beautiful against a rolled cuff or a bare summer arm.
For the considered mix. The Forged Drop Earrings with the Forged Disc Necklace and the Silver Stud Bangle at the wrist. The warm gold at the ear and the throat, the cool silver at the arm, a modern way to wear the collection across tones.

Beyond the longest day
A piece of Freya Rose Mother of Pearl Jewellery was never crafted only for a single occasion. It was crafted for the summer wedding she is invited to in August. The garden lunch in September. The evening dinner in October, when she reaches for the gold disc earrings and remembers the warmth of midsummer.
A piece designed to be worn from dawn to dusk, and from one chapter of her life into the next.
