Nestled in the idyllic Cotswolds countryside, Barnsley House is a romantic retreat with storybook gardens and heritage architectural features - the perfect backdrop to your special celebration.
Their grounds offer a variety of one-of-a-kind locations for your ceremony, from the Temple folly - a beautiful place to propose as well as marry - to their gothic Summer House, which is surrounded by swathes of cow parsley in the warmer months.
With 18 individually designed bedrooms, there's plenty of room for your guests to stay over and enjoy everything they have to offer. From luxurious spa treatments to clay pigeon shooting and beautiful garden tours, Barnsley House is a tranquil countryside escape. In addition to the main grounds, just a short wonder down the road is The Boot, which has an additional six bedrooms and is a favourite spot for an authentic Cotswolds pub experience with delicious food.
Barnsley House is a coveted and highly desirable wedding venue and because of this it's recommended that larger parties book the venue around 12/18 months ahead or 6 months for more intimate weddings and celebrations.
The romantic venue can host up to 60 day guests in the restaurant and 100 evening guests for those looking for exclusive use packages. For those looking to surround themselves in the beautiful British gardens, Barnsley House also offer a marquee hire which can host up to 150 for both (independently hire by the couple).

Considering a mini-moon? Barnsley House have plenty or rooms and suites to choose from of which some are rather secluded with their own private outdoor areas and access.
