Today, Freya is proud to give back through her annual gala in her hometown, which has raised over £40,000 and helped bring greater awareness to the charity’s vital work. The Power of Believing in Young People

Formerly known as The Prince’s Trust, The King’s Trust was founded by His Majesty in 1976 and has spent five decades helping young people build brighter futures. Through business funding, education, training, mentoring and confidence-building initiatives, the charity gives individuals the tools and encouragement to take their next steps.

Hearing the stories of those whose lives have been transformed by the Trust was a powerful reminder of why its work matters. Freya Rose also enjoyed speaking with DJ and entrepreneur Carl Cox, who began his own journey with a £1,000 loan from the Trust — a remarkable example of how one opportunity can open the door to an entirely different future.
