On the 10th November 2022, Freya Rose London hosted an inaugural Charity Gala in support of The Prince's Trust, Women Supporting Women initiative.
Freya (right) proudly stands beside with The Prince's Trust representative Alex (left) who supported her journey to becoming an Ambassador for the Trust earlier this year.
Freya founded her eponymous label in 2010 with help and a loan from The Prince's Trust. Now, just over a decade ago, Freya has become the first recipient and beneficiary of The Prince's Trust's enterprise program to become an Ambassador for the Trust. The 360 moment felt like a natural fit for Freya because, as a passionate philanthropist, it opened up opportunities to help young women and give back to The Prince's Trust.
The beautiful venue was adorned with exquisite florals sponsored by Ewa at Blossom Boutique and table decor from Ami at Lo and Behold Bespoke.
The charity event, held at The Queens Hotel, Portsmouth, welcomed 120 guests to celebrate and raise awareness for The Trust, as well as valued funding.
Over the course of the evening, guests donated to The Prince's Trust's Women Supporting Women initiative through a number of means; from a luxury raffle and fun heads or tails game to a phenomenal live auction.
The Freya Rose charity gala received incredibly kind donations and generous support from so many amazing businesses, which enabled the night to raise over £12,000 for The Prince's Trust.
On the night, guests were also able to buy pieces from the Freya Rose 'Woven for Women' jewellery collection and 100% of the profits made on the night went towards the cause. The unique and intricate pieces of woven jewellery are handcrafted using a traditional East Indonesian technique which is now a dying artform. Freya has a deep set love for craftsmanship and when she discovered the woven wire technique, she instantly resonated with the concept that women, like the woven wire jewellery, when supported by other women are "stronger together". This became a great inspiration for Freya and evolved into her designing our "Woven for Women" collection which is an ongoing fundraising effort whereby 2.5% of profit of each piece sold goes towards The Prince's Trust, Women Supporting Women initiative.
Guests on the night also got an exclusive look at the new Woven for Women, 'Kindred' Necklace which'll be launched for 2023 International Women's Day.
As well as amazing fundraising opportunities, guests enjoyed divine food by the incredible chef's at The Queens Hotel for the incredible service on the night...
and had immense fun dancing the night away to live vocals from Tommy Ryan and later DJ Kelly Woods who brought the funky house tunes.
To all our guests,
Please find your wonderful photos from the night here available to download.
