Freya Rose Pearl Elegance on Hector MacLean’s LFW Runway

We were absolutely thrilled to see Freya Rose pieces featured in Hector Maclean’s London Fashion Week show, Bastard Aristocrat, a bold reimagining of British heritage through a rebellious, regal lens. Styled with our Large Baroque Pearl Drop Earrings and Chelsea Heels, the show was a striking tribute to craftsmanship, storytelling, and the power of fashion to challenge tradition. Seeing our pieces complement this vision was truly an honour, reinforcing our belief in timeless, wearable art.
Hector Maclean’s AW25 collection, Bastard Aristocrat, merges aristocratic heritage with punk rebellion. Inspired by his ancestor Lady Susan Bellasyse, it reinterprets British identity through shredded Union Jacks, neon hues, and Victorian-inspired lace. References to iconic women and a striking recycled poppy-adorned finale piece challenge traditional notions of Britishness, making the collection a bold tribute to the UK’s diverse cultural legacy.

Our pieces were beautifully paired with a stunning pearl-accented dress, perfectly highlighting the regal essence of the collection. Our Freya Rose Baroque pearl earrings and mother-of-pearl heels added an elegant touch, enhancing the overall harmony and aesthetic of the ensemble.

Our earrings were also featured as a statement piece for an entirely different look, one that embraced a more rebellious lens. His collection was so iconic that Tatler remarked, 'We bow down to the new king of London Fashion Week,' regarding the show.

The marriage of Hector's innovative vision and our timeless, artisanal craftsmanship created a truly unforgettable moment on the runway. Every piece, meticulously handcrafted, brought a unique touch of elegance and luxury to his collection.

At Freya Rose, we are proud to continue championing artistry and heritage in a world of fast fashion. We can’t wait to share more of our creations, where beauty, craftsmanship, and storytelling intertwine.
