Oscars 2022 Best Dressed, Trends and Styling With Freya Rose Designer Accessories

Last night saw the 94th Annual Academy Awards back and better than ever! As one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, the awards' red carpet becomes a stage for custom gowns and designer fashion like no other - a chance for the stars to showcase the highest levels of glamour.

 

To round up the star studded event, we have selected some of our favourite looks, most glamorous gowns and standout red carpet moments of the night and styled them with pieces from our designer shoes and jewellery collection.

 

This year a number of celebs made a tailored statement and added edge to the red carpet by opting for chic and modern white shirts. From the ever iconic Zendaya to Uma Therman, the sharp and clean cut looks were a favourite of ours.

Turning heads this year were Kristen Stewart and Ariana DeBose - two incredibly strong women embracing a bold look to express their stand alone style. Both Oscar nominee's opted for a non-tradition pant/short style which certainly made a statement, and one we're all for!

To compliment these ultra playful red carpet looks we'd style the two piece sets with minimal, yet striking designer shoes and jewellery. Not holding back this year were actresses Maggie Gyllenhaal and Lupita Nyong'o. Both women donned dazzling gowns, which through silhouette and sparkle, made a golden impression that one would only expect to see at such an occasion. 

Choosing designer accessories for striking occasion dresses such as these may seem an intimidating task, however, when it comes to the Oscar's we can't help but feel 'more is more'! Why stop the statement dressing at the gown? To complete their old Hollywood-esque looks we would always opt for classic, ultra feminine designer accessories.
