Celebrating Excellence in Demi-Fine Jewellery: Freya Rose London Wins at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2026
There are certain moments when jewellery becomes more than something to wear. It becomes a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and the art of adornment. This week, Freya Rose London was delighted to be named Demi-Fine Jewellery of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards 2026, a moment that celebrates the distinctive world of jewellery we have created since founding the brand in 2010.
Held at Pillar Hall, Olympia London, the awards brought together more than 200 of the UK jewellery industry's leading names for an evening of celebration, creativity and exceptional design. Among an impressive shortlist, Freya Rose London was announced the winner of the Demi-Fine Jewellery of the Year category, presented by Professional Jeweller editor Harriet Whitaker.
Where Art Meets Adornment
At Freya Rose London, Demi-Fine Jewellery has always been an opportunity to explore jewellery as an art form.
Our collections are defined by sculptural silhouettes, intricate details and an instinctive love of beautiful materials. At their heart is our signature Mother of Pearl Jewellery, handcrafted in Bali from locally sourced shells and transformed by skilled artisans into distinctive, tactile designs.
Mother of Pearl has become one of the signatures of the Freya Rose world. Every shell carries its own natural pattern, colour and character, making each piece wonderfully individual. There is something inherently captivating about jewellery crafted from a material shaped by nature and reimagined by an artisan.
Alongside it, our Gold Jewellery introduces a rich warmth and timeless elegance, bringing together precious-looking finishes with the expressive forms that have become synonymous with the brand.
The New Language of Demi-Fine Jewellery
The appeal of Demi-Fine Jewellery lies in its ability to occupy that alluring space between everyday jewellery and fine jewellery. It allows for experimentation, personality and a little more fantasy.
For Freya Rose London, this means creating jewellery designed to make an impression – whether worn with a simple silk dress, layered with other pieces, or chosen to accompany one of life's most important occasions.
Our designs are made by artisans in Bali, with craftsmanship and techniques passed down through generations. Traditional skills are brought together with Freya's contemporary design language, creating pieces that feel both rooted in craftsmanship and distinctly modern.
A Moment Worth Celebrating
Being recognised as Demi-Fine Jewellery of the Year is a wonderful acknowledgement of this creative journey.
From our sculptural Mother of Pearl designs to our Gold Jewellery, every piece begins with the same belief: that jewellery should inspire emotion. It should catch the eye, invite conversation and, most importantly, feel personal to the person wearing it.
We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition from Professional Jeweller and to stand alongside such talented names within the industry.
For us, Demi-Fine Jewellery is ultimately about bringing artistry into the everyday, creating beautiful objects to wear, collect and treasure for years to come.
And perhaps that is the most exciting thing about jewellery: its ability to transform a moment, an outfit or even a memory into something you can hold onto.
"Winning Demi-Fine Jewellery of the Year means the world to me. Ten years ago I set out to prove that jewellery could be sculptural, personal and a little unexpected; this award tells me that vision has landed. I'm so proud of every artisan in Bali who brings these pieces to life, and endlessly grateful to Professional Jeweller for this recognition" - Freya
