Last Friday evening, 3rd November 2023, The Queen's Hotel came alive with the glitter and glamour of our Freya Rose 2023 Charity Gala. This beautiful event, held in support of The Prince's Trust and their "Change a Girl's Life" campaign, was a remarkable evening that brought together over 100 guests, all eager to make a difference in the lives of young women from disadvantaged backgrounds in the UK.
Freya, an ambassador for The Prince's Trust Women Supporting Women initiative, organised the gala to raise invaluable funding and awareness for the cause close to her heart. The "Change a Girl's Life" campaign is a noble initiative designed to improve the lives of young women who face adversity due to their circumstances. Throughout the evening guests experienced heartwarming and inspiring moments at our Charity Gala, which celebrated the impact the charity has on young girls' lives.
Supporting The Prince's Trust "Change a Girl's Life" Campaign:
The Prince's Trust is a renowned charity founded by His Majesty King Charles III, with a mission to help young people across the United Kingdom to overcome the challenges they face. One of their pivotal campaigns, "Change a Girl's Life," specifically focuses on young women from disadvantaged backgrounds. This initiative provides crucial support, opportunities, and mentorship to empower these girls and help them build brighter futures.
The campaign addresses multiple issues faced by young women, including limited access to education, employment opportunities, and personal development resources. By creating a support network and offering mentorship programs, The Prince's Trust aims to break the cycle of disadvantage and provide these girls with the tools they need to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
The Freya Rose 2023 Charity Gala is an event held in support of this campaign, bringing together people who are committed to creating lasting change in these young women's lives. The gala served as a powerful reminder that together, we can make a real impact and provide hope and opportunities to those who need it most.
An Evening of Elegance and Generosity:
The Freya Rose Gala was a night to remember, filled with moments of elegance, generosity, and entertainment. The evening kicked off with a bubbly reception, where guests mingled, shared stories, and expressed their excitement for the night ahead. It was heartwarming to see so many individuals united by their passion for supporting The Prince's Trust and the "Change a Girl's Life" campaign.
Following the reception, the gala featured an exquisite three-course meal in the fantasy-like dining room that was decked out with divine styling and florals that were a feast for the eyes. A huge thank you to Ewa of Blossom Boutique and Ami of Lo and Behold Bespoke who's attention to detail creative finesse brought Freya's autumnal vision to life.
One of the highlights of the evening was the luxury raffle and auction. Our team were fortunate to have gathered an impressive array of prizes and experiences, all generously donated by individuals and businesses who believed in the cause. The atmosphere was electric as guests bid for items such as: an overnight stay for two at Barnsley House and a bespoke Lime Wood Spa Day with lunch. Knowing that their contributions would directly benefit young women who needed a helping hand made the evenings fundraising all that more fun and exciting.
A Night of Giving:
The Freya Rose 2023 Charity Gala achieved a remarkable feat by raising over £10,000 for The Prince's Trust and their "Change a Girl's Life" campaign. This astounding sum of money will go a long way in providing vital support and opportunities to young women from disadvantaged backgrounds. It's a testament to the power of collective generosity and a reminder of the positive change we can bring about when we come together for a common cause.
Carrie Lang, a representative from The Prince's Trust, graced the event to speak about the charity and the incredible work they do across the United Kingdom. Her heartfelt words resonated with guests, reaffirming the importance of their contributions and emphasising the impact it would have on the lives of young women. It was a poignant moment that highlighted the significance of their collective efforts.
