Freya Rose Hosts Charity Gala Raising Over £15,000 For The King’s Trust

Freya Rose London is delighted to announce the outstanding success of their 3rd annual charity gala, held on the 15th of November, which raised over £15,000 in support of newly rebranded The King’s Trust Change A Girl’s Life (#CAGL) initiative. The evening was a dazzling celebration of purpose, passion, and philanthropy, as it brought together an inspiring array of attendees to support disadvantaged young women in unlocking their potential.

The gala, one of the first major events for the youth charity under its new name, welcomed an illustrious guest list that included local MPs, representatives of The King’s Trust, and VIP attendees. Among them was the international music superstar and King’s Trust International Ambassador, DJ Cuppy, who has been the face of the Change A Girl’s Life campaign for 2024 and 2025. Her heartfelt speech moved the audience, as she shared her experiences as a passionate advocate for education and empowerment, underscoring the critical importance of the evening’s mission. DJ Cuppy, who boasts a staggering 9.1 million followers and has been recognized twice in Forbes’ 30 Under 30, captivated the room with her eloquence and dedication.

The event also featured a powerful virtual address from Emma Bunton, whose words of encouragement and inspiration resonated deeply with attendees, affirming the transformative impact of The King’s Trust’s work.

Freya Rose herself delivered an emotional speech, reflecting on her own journey and the vital role The King’s Trust played in helping her build her internationally acclaimed luxury shoe and jewellery brand. Her gratitude and determination to give back shone through as she said, “Starting a business is tough, but The King’s Trust gave me the opportunity, the belief, and the support I needed to succeed. Tonight is about creating that same chance for so many other young people who dream of more.”

Freya’s story, from a young woman with a dream to the founder of a brand worn by icons like HRH The Princess of Wales, Kate Moss, and Rihanna, serves as a shining testament to the life-changing power of The King’s Trust. Her unwavering dedication to hosting this gala showcased her commitment to making a tangible difference for young women facing adversity.

Freya Rose Raising Awareness For Change A Girl's Life

The evening was punctuated with poignant speeches from members of The King’s Trust and DJ Pebz (a young beneficiary for the trust), highlighting the enduring impact of the charity’s work since its founding in 1976 by HM The King. Guests were reminded of the incredible progress made over the years, with three in four young people supported by The Trust in the last five years moving into work, education, or training.

Thanks to Freya’s tireless efforts, the funds raised will go directly towards supporting young women in accessing the skills, resources, and confidence they need to break out of the poverty trap and create brighter futures. The gala’s success is a testament to the power of collective action, as every contribution made that evening will ripple outward, changing lives for years to come.
