The Early Years: A Vision Takes Shape
After graduating from the London College of Fashion, Freya gained invaluable experience working for Gina, a brand renowned for luxury footwear, and received mentorship from the iconic Jimmy Choo. These formative years fuelled her passion for craftsmanship and design, inspiring her to forge her own path in the world of luxury accessories.
The Birth of Freya Rose
In 2010, with the support of The Prince’s Trust, Freya founded her eponymous label. Her first office was at the Business Design Centre in Islington, a space where her vision for reimagining artisanal techniques into contemporary luxury first took shape.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
A defining element of Freya Rose has been its dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship. Over the past 15 years, Freya has proudly worked alongside the same team of highly skilled artisans, who meticulously handcraft each signature design. This unwavering commitment to quality and heritage remains at the heart of everything we create.
Giving Back: Empowering Women & Communities
In 2022, Freya became the first-ever beneficiary of The Prince’s Trust to be named an ambassador for the charity’s Change A Girl’s Life campaign, which supports young, disadvantaged women across the UK. To date, Freya has raised over £40,000 for the cause, a testament to her belief in uplifting and empowering women worldwide.

Over the years, she and her team have travelled across the globe, showcasing the artistry of Freya Rose to an international audience. Today, our designs are proudly stocked in over 50 stores worldwide, including prestigious retailers such as Nordstrom and Harvey Nichols.
Celebrating Success & Recognition
Freya’s journey has been one of passion, perseverance, and creative excellence. She has been honoured to see her work recognised by renowned platforms such as Vanity Fair and the everywoman awards. Yet, among all these achievements, one of her proudest moments remains sharing her passion with her son—passing on the importance of cultural heritage and ancestral craftsmanship to the next generation. “One of my highlights has been sharing what I do with my son; passing on my passion about preserving cultural heritage and the importance of celebrating ancestral craftsmanship.”
