Gold Jewellery with Purpose: Introducing The Lion Collection
On 8th March 2026, in honour of International Women’s Day, we unveil The Lion Collection, a striking new capsule of Gold Jewellery designed not only to adorn, but to empower.
At Freya Rose London, every creation begins with intention. This launch carries particular resonance. The Lion Collection has been conceived as a celebration of female strength, courage and self-belief, while proudly supporting The King’s Trust Change a Girl’s Life initiative, a cause deeply woven into our own story.

A Symbol of Strength
The lion has long been revered across cultures as a guardian and guide, a symbol of leadership, protection and humility. For us, it represents courage expressed through presence.
This nuanced interpretation lies at the heart of the collection. From afar, each design appears as contemporary Gold Jewellery with an organic, sculptural texture. Look closer, and the lion’s head emerges from the mane, defined, intricate, unmistakable.
Bold yet refined, commanding yet considered, the pieces reflect the duality of modern femininity. They are statements, but never theatrical. They hold their ground.
Comprising five new designs:

Each piece is handcrafted in Sterling Silver and 18ct Gold Vermeil by the artisans we have worked alongside for over a decade. As with all our Gold Jewellery, craftsmanship is central. These are heirloom pieces, designed to carry meaning across generations.
Gold Jewellery that Gives Back
This launch is anchored in purpose.
Freya Rose has proudly served as an ambassador for The King’s Trust Change a Girl’s Life initiative since 2022. The charity’s mission is to help young women from disadvantaged backgrounds gain the skills, confidence, and access they need to enter the workplace, through training courses and job placements, as well as interview preparation and mentorship.

100% of profits from The Lion Collection sold on International Women’s Day (8th March) will be donated directly to the initiative. Throughout the remainder of March, 25% of profits will continue to support the cause, followed by 10% for the rest of the year.
Freya’s own journey is intrinsically linked to the charity’s work:
“When founding Freya Rose London in 2010, I was supported by The King’s Trust with mentorship and a business loan. The belief the charity instilled in me gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams. That’s why I’m deeply committed to supporting the Change A Girl’s Life campaign, and I thank King Charles for establishing the Trust. The work they do is vital, free from social bias and welcome to all.”
This collection is a continuation of that commitment, a tangible expression of solidarity.
Craft, Character and Contemporary Femininity
At Freya Rose London, we have always opposed fast fashion. Our work, whether couture shoes or Gold Jewellery, is created as sculptural, wearable works of art. Pieces that transcend trend cycles. Pieces that speak.
The Lion Collection captures that ethos with clarity. The raw, organic surface texture echoes the natural world, while the lion’s commanding expression is revealed only upon closer inspection, a metaphor for the layered strength women carry.
In the context of Change a Girl’s Life, the symbolism deepens. The lion becomes an emblem of opportunity and belief, a reminder that mentorship and access can transform potential into possibility.
To wear this Gold Jewellery is to wear intention. It is an adornment aligned with action.
